This is the craziest soccer video I’ve ever seen. The people in this clip have incredible moves and quickness. For this post, less writing = better writing. Give it 4:21 of your time. It’ll be time well spent.

This video clip (although a bit long…9:40) is a tutorial given by David Beckham to a group of youth soccer players. Those looking to improve their free kick skills ought to take 10 minutes to watch. There is a lot of good information and ideas on how to practice free kicks without having anything but a ball and a goal.
Plus, learn how to really “bend it like Beckham”! Enjoy…

Here is a quick clip (2:31) with a few basic, although very good, drills to do on your own or implement into a practice/training session. All are focused on technical foot skills. Highly recommended!

Take a look at this video! Learn from the best of them (the Italians)…how to sell a foul. Funny stuff! I think the team I played two weeks ago has been using this as a training video in their practices.

This video is an interesting choice, but nonetheless useful to any footballer trying to increase his/her speed and agility. Growing up as the son of a plumbing contractor, I am well aware that at your local Home Depot, you can pick up the necessary PVC pipe and fittings for probably no more than $5 or so to build some hurdles to help you do this drill.
In soccer, you can’t say enough about speed. Often times a less-skilled, but very fast, quick player can break through an otherwise inpenetrable defense to make the difference in a close match.
This training video (although it may be boring), comes highly recommended for all players. If you think you’re already quick, don’t worry, there’s always someone quicker!

I came across this clip of some guy named Pablo doing a bunch of moves. At first I wasn’t incredibly impressed with what he was showing, but as I got more into the clip, there were some pretty nice moves. Check it out and see if you can put some of these into your own game.
